Partner and Referral Development Manager

JOB TYPE:  Full-Time

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated Partner and Referral Development Manager to join the Clickback team. You are an experienced professional who will be responsible for managing all current and future Partner Channels with a focus on customer and partner referrals. You will also be responsible for partner development, onboarding, support and growth.

 

This role reports directly to the Growth Marketing Manager and will have close strategic relationships with the President and Sales Manager.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving sales leads from our partners and referral programs to our Inside Sales team as a key lead driver for the company
  • Building relationships with top tier partners and clients through regular phone and email touchpoints
  • Using Salesforce and SalesLoft to keep accurate records
  • Build out partner and customer referral programming with our marketing department
  • Account manage our partners
  • Must enjoy talking with partners and building relationships, sending them business and asking them for leads
  • Own and build Clickback referral programs for customer and partners using third-party referral program software, such as Referral Rock
  • Previous experience building out and developing referral programs with goal or focus on driving lead growth
  • Research, propose new partner verticals to management
  • Ability to manage and support existing relationships through phone calls or emails, with group of 80+ partners to ensure their needs are effectively addressed
  • Can easily present ideas in a clear fashion and has a proven track record of execution, preferably in capacity of new referral program rollouts
  • Can manage, organize and attend tradeshows in the U.S. to build new relationships
  • Serve as first level of escalation for partner related problems or issues

What you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of Business Development and/or Account Management experience. Preference will be given to those who have developed or worked on Referral and/or Business and Partner Programs
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or SalesLoft to accurately enter, update, and maintain partner information, keeping comprehensive and accurate information
  • Strong ability to develop relationships with partners
  • Ability to learn technical information and share with a non-technical audience
  • Strong online presentation skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication and listening skills
  • Excellent planning, prioritization and time management skills and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products

What would be an asset:

  • Experience in a software or SaaS company
  • Experience in B2B industry
  • Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft and GoToMeeting. If no experience, must be able to quickly learn new software.
  • Experience working with third-party referral program software, such as Referral Rock
