Inside Sales Representative

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leading-edge team. We are looking for a highly driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team. This candidate will create and grow customer relationships for our current software offerings.  If you’re passionate about generating new business through the handling of inbound and outbound sales contacts from/to customers that have shown interest in our products and services, you’ll fit right into our growing team.


The ‘ISR’, currently reports to the VP of Sales and will report to a Sales Manager while working full-time in our downtown St. Catharines office.  If you believe you can work and communicate well in a fast-paced entrepreneurial software company, we want to talk to you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The goal of the Inside Sales Representative is to play a fundamental role in achieving our revenue targets with a “work hard, play hard” attitude. This role may evolve and expand over time;



  • Through a combination of inbound and outbound contact strategies, convert high-volume leads that originate from Clickback website and business partners, marketing campaigns and email requests
  • Effectively qualify, conduct needs analysis and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs
  • Coach and advise businesses and organizations on email and other lead generation strategies to help their businesses thrive and grow
  • Attain and exceed direct and cross-sell sales goals
  • Conduct online demos of our two software offerings
  • Accurately enter, update and maintain prospect information in customer relationship management applications for processing sales, and keep comprehensive and accurate client information
  • Attend sales and product training and develop proficiency in Clickback applications, as well a basic understanding of the B2B lead generation, market and competitors
  • Potential to attend industry trade shows and related events
  • Follow company policies and sales procedures effectively

What You Will Need:


  • College or University Diploma in Technology or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be comfortable meeting and/or exceeding monthly quotas and handling rejections
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a strong phone presence
  • Competitive and highly confident with a positive attitude
  • Strong written, verbal communication and listening skills
  • Curious and not afraid to ask questions to learn or when unsure
  • Highly organized and can prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Detail-oriented and passionate about your contributions
  • Must be able to learn quickly from colleagues and other department managers
  • Team player to work on assigned tasks and projects in a team collaboration with Department Managers/VP’s as well as work independently
  • Previous experience working in an entrepreneurial or fast paced company

What Would Be An Asset:


  • Experience with lead generation or marketing software
  • Experience in a software or SaaS company
  • 3-5 years’ previous experience in a B2B sales position
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Experience selling services or technology products to mid-size and larger businesses is highly preferred
