
CLICKBACK PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS POLICYClickback is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of anyone that receives email communications from the Clickback MAIL software. This has been achieved by implementing various policies, to make sure Clickback MAIL continues to protect your privacy and remain a trusted solution for email marketing. This document outlines those policies and our team’s efforts to enforce them. Any customer found to be using Clickback MAIL for spam may be immediately termination from use of the product. If you know of or suspect any violators, please notify us immediately at abuse at clickbackmail.com. Clickback MAIL policy on permission is the following; Clickback MAIL has a zero tolerance spam policy and is a permission-based email marketing solution. It provides a professional web-based software solution to our customers and partners to send emails to people who want or have requested to receive the email communications. Clickback MAIL’s permission policy is part of the ‘Clickback Software Agreement’ that agreed to and signed by all customers before going live. It also appears as a reminder in the import process every time new recipient lists are uploaded. Clickback MAIL’s privacy policy goes beyond the stipulations set forth in the Can-Spam legislation and states the following: Sender agrees to include its physical address in all email communications, as required by the U.S. Can-Spam legislation, and to adhere to the full Can-Spam guidelines as well as any other applicable local, provincial/state, federal and international laws. Sender agrees to use the software provided by Clickback to email people who meet at least one of the following criteria: 1) The recipient has opted in to receive emails from the sender, using a form that clearly indicates that by submitting his or her email address he or she will receive emails; or 2) The recipient has provided his or her email address to the sender, via business card, conference or similar, with the understanding that will send email communications to the recipient emails; or 3) The recipient has a clear relationship with sender, as (a) a customer who has purchased a good or service within the past eighteen (18) months, obtaining the customer's email address. (b) a subscriber who pays a subscription fee to gain access to services, or (c) a member who pays dues to belong to their organization If any recipient, regardless of prior opt-in status or relationship, has indicated their desire not to receive emails - either during or prior to the use of Clickback MAIL – then the sender can not use Clickback MAIL to email that recipient. Sender agrees to not use Clickback MAIL to send to email addresses that have been purchased, rented or otherwise obtained from a third party, or which have been collected using a script or other harvesting method, or which have been obtained without the email address owner's knowledge. Sending emails to any address or list obtained using one or more of these methods may results in immediate termination of senders email marketing account. Sender agrees to not use Clickback MAIL to break any local, provincial/state, Federal or international laws or regulations (including but not limited to those related to spamming, e-commerce, obscenity, defamation or privacy); or to encourage or facilitate any illegal activities; or to harass, threaten or embarrass any person or organization; or to promote MLM (multi-level marketing) or Ponzi schemes; or to distribute illegal, pornographic or potentially harmful or offensive information, photos, software or materials, or include links to Web pages containing any such items Clickback MAIL policy on customer or account information is the following; Under no circumstances will Clickback share customer’s or partner’s personal information with any third party. We also collect certain aggregate information about our customers. We use this information to improve the offering and do a better job of marketing them. We may also report such information - always in aggregate form and never in a way that could identify individuals - to third parties, such as newspapers or industry observers or potential customers and partners. Clickback MAIL policy on customer data is the following; Login or access to Clickback MAIL is only possible with bank level 128bit SSL web browsers, making sure your data from your computer to the Clickback servers is secure. We do everything we can to make sure your customer lists, email content and response data remains private and confidential. Though we reserve the right to monitor your lists, content and response data from time to time to make sure they comply with our Terms of Use, we will never share, sell or rent your customer data to anyone for any reason. We will not sell your email address. We will not rent it. Clickback MAIL policy on customer communication is the following; The only emails you will receive from Clickback will be emails related to your account or your use of Clickback MAIL. We may alert you to new features or site enhancements. We might check in to see how your last campaign went. Some of those emails may be directed to all customers, and some of them may be written just for you. Clickback MAIL policy on customer billing and credit card data is the following; Clickback Software Agreements require certain credit card and billing information in order to sign-up or setup an account on Clickback MAIL. That information is transferred, using the most secure transmission technology, to a trusted third party for processing. The information is then encrypted using Data Encryption Standard 3 (Triple DES) and securely stored to handle your transactions. Your credit card information is not stored on the Clickback servers only on the software agreement. The privacy of both our customers (senders) and their customers (email recipients) is very important to Clickback, and each and every day we continue to protect it and look for ways to improve.
